Grant funds facilities upgrade at priory campus
The popular community centre in Lundwood is to upgrade its facilities thanks to a £112,285 grant from the Coalfields Regeneration Trust (CRT).

Voting to improve the rights of temporary and agency workers
Eric Illsley voted with many fellow Labour backbenchers to secure the further passage of a private members bill that could give agency workers the same employment rights as directly employed staff. The Temporary and Agency Workers (Equal Treatment) Bill, which currently does not have Government support, passed its Second Reading last Friday thanks to the 147 MPs, including Eric, who supported the bill.
